Tasktra DMCA Policy
This page describes how Tasktra handles Digital Millennium Copyright Act takedown requests and how to submit a copyright infringement notice.
Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice
Tasktra respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects creators using our platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), Tasktra will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Tasktra platform if such claims are reported to our designated copyright agent.
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that content on the Tasktra platform infringes a copyright you own, you may submit a written DMCA takedown notification to our designated agent.
Submitting a DMCA Notice
A valid DMCA notification must include all of the following: Your physical or electronic signature, or a written statement signed by you under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or if a single notice covers multiple works, a representative list of such works. Identification of the material you claim is infringing and that you want removed or access disabled, with sufficient information for us to locate it (including the content URL, assignment ID, or submission reference). Your address, telephone number, and email address where we can contact you. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. A statement that the information in your notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Send your DMCA notice to our designated agent at: support@tasktra.com. We will respond to all valid DMCA notices within 10 business days.
Counter-Notice
If you believe that content removed from the Tasktra platform was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include: Your physical or electronic signature. Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location where it appeared before it was removed or disabled. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Tasktra may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or their agent.
Submit counter-notices to support@tasktra.com. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the disputed content within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complaining party notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking a restraining order.
Repeat Infringers
Tasktra has a policy of terminating the accounts of creators who are found to be repeat copyright infringers. Where we determine that a creator has repeatedly infringed copyrighted works, we will disable their access to the platform and forfeit any pending assignments and payouts associated with the infringing content. Repeat infringers are also prohibited from creating new accounts on the Tasktra platform.
Platform Content Moderation
In addition to copyright claims, Tasktra maintains its own content moderation standards for all creator submissions. We reserve the right to remove, reject, or restrict content that violates our platform guidelines, the terms of service of the social media platforms where content will be published, or applicable law, regardless of whether a formal DMCA notice has been filed.
Submitting false, misleading, or abusive DMCA notices or counter-notices may result in legal liability. We cooperate with law enforcement agencies investigating copyright fraud or abuse of the DMCA process.
